EYEJOT EXPRESS SETUP

Help :: Firewall issues

One of the key components of the Eyejot system is our media server, to which you connect every time you record a message. If, when you click on the record button, you see a clock icon which never goes away, you may be having problems connecting to our server. Usually this is caused by a firewall or other Internet filtering program.

For the best experience, you should make sure that you can make outbound TCP connections to port 1935 of fms.eyejot.com, using the RTMP protocol.

While each program and firewall's configuration is different, the following test from Adobe Systems may provide yourself or your network administrator with the knowledge needed to properly configure your system, as well as help us to troubleshoot your problem.

If the test results on the page above indicate that you are successfully able to connect to the Adobe servers, and you are still unable to connect to Eyejot, please let us know.
