Your profile is configured by clicking on the Profile button
that appears prominently in the top-most toolbar on your screen. Click
on this button to enter your personal information, picture and greeting
video.
Personal InformationThe first place to start in configuring your profile is with your own personal information. On the first tab of the profile editor you can enter in your first and last name as well as your city, state and country. When you're done, click on Update to save your settings. If you'd like to change your password, there's a text link on the same screen. Profile PictureEyejot can capture your image right now if you have a web camera hooked up to your computer. Just select the Profile Picture tab and click on Take Snapshot to begin. A popup window will appear and, if your camera is working, a picture of you! You can also upload a picture that you've already taken. Just click on Upload Picture to bring up a file selection dialog. Select a GIF, JPEG or PNG file of your choice. Eyejot will automatically scale your selected image so that it conforms to the preferred size of 150x150 pixels. Profile VideoIf you're planning on deploying the Eyejot site widget you should record a brief video greeting. You can do so by selecting the Profile Video tab and then clicking on Record New Profile Video. It's just like creating an Eyejot message. Look into the camera and speak clearly. For profile videos it's a good idea to make then short. If you're planning on hosting the Eyejot site widget on a MySpace page consider creating a video that starts off with something like "Thank you for visiting my MySpace page!" You can change your profile video as often as you like without having to republish your widget code. For more information about deploying the site widget you can click here. |
